This sweet, early 19th-century diminutive marking
This sweet, early 19th-century diminutive marking sampler attributed to Sally, or Sarah Hosley, was previously offered by David Thompson Antiques & Art. Sarah Hosley was born in Pepperell, Massachusetts in 1795 and this sampler is inscribed in needlework “sally hosley / her sampler”. David Thompson will be exhibiting again this year at The 65th Annual New Hampshire Antiques Show. ​​​​​​​​
