Fifty-one years ago, a group of New Hampshire antiques dealers held the first New Hampshire Antiques Show in a small second story room of a hotel in Concord, NH. Year after year, the show's success and reputation grew until it finally moved to the Center of New Hampshire, Holiday Inn, in Manchester, NH Managed by a team of dedicated volunteers, the New Hampshire Antiques Dealer Show is considered "New England's Premiere Summer Show". The sixty six professional antiques dealers, have a reputation for saving merchandise all during the year in order to assure that the show maintains its long standing reputation for "fresh to the market" antiques. Dealers present both Country and Formal furniture and accessories, as well as a wide array of quality 18th & 19th century clocks, folk art, paintings and prints, hooked and oriental rugs, woodenware, nautical and scientific items, pewter, silver, and fine glass. Pottery, including stoneware and china; ceramics including mochaware, spongewear, chalkwear, majolica and Moorcroft, are displayed, as well as early lighting, samplers, Shaker furniture and accessories, decoys, architectural and garden ornaments. Textiles including quilts and coverlets. abound, and there is even an exhibitor in the lobby with a great selection of current and out of print books on antiques. Truly a show with something for everyone, and for every pocket book, the NH Dealers Show is a "must" for every lover of good antiques. There is on site parking, at the Radisson, and the hotel is comfortably air-conditioned. You will find an on-site shipper on premises, and VISA/MC are available for antique purchases. In NH, there is NO sales tax. A visit to the Country Living booth, will reward you with ample ideas for decorating with antiques from the editors of one of this country's best loved magazines. Whether you are a serious collector, an antique dealer, or a browser, this is the one antique show you shouldn't miss. The New Hampshire Antique Show is sponsored by the 325 member New Hampshire Antiques Dealers Association, a non-profit organization, and offers a rare chance for collectors, dealers and interior designers to purchase top quality merchandise gleaned from New England homes. We welcome your visit and hope that you'll plan to spend the day with us!
