Early 19th Century, turned treenware covered container, early yellow paint over original red paint. This original surface is beautifully worn and dry. With the finial, the height is about 6".

Late 18th or early 19th Century, New England turned bowl in worn red paint, measuring 15" in diameter and 5 1/2" high

Maine or Canterbury, 19th Century Shaker, oval finger lapped box secured with copper nails. The box, made of maple and pine, retains its original surface. It is 9" wide and 3 1/2" high.

A charming, very folky country sampler in its original frame and red paint. Josey Thom(as?) 1851 included her dog, St. Romy, as well as, her house, a heart, her ABCs, etc., all worked in wool on burlap. The glass, also appears to be original. The frame measures 14" by 9 1/2".
