Membership Information
Membership in the New Hampshire Antiques Dealers Association has the following benefits:
NHADA prints and distributes over 70,000 directories each year.
The Association sponsors one "Special pull-out Advertising Section" each year in the Maine Antiques Digest, where members can advertise together for better visibility at a reduced rate. Members can also buy advertising space in our annual Show Program. The Association regularly generates publicity, and manages press release information for all its events, and promotes the NH Antiques Dealers Directory and Website throughout the year.
The NHADA sponsors, the nationaly known NH Dealers Show each August as its major fundraiser. Only NHADA members are considered for exhibitors at the show. With free admission for all members upon presentation of a current membership card.
The association provides a website for its members with an online directory, details of the annual show, and a listing of members by specialties. Links to the NHADA website are available to members only at an additional charge, and maybe arranged with our website consultant. Please e-mail info@nhada.org for further information.
The Association conducts an Annual Meeting each fall which includes dinner, a guest speaker and ample opportunity to socialize with fellow dealers. The Association subsidizes this event.
Membership Code of Ethics Agreement
All applicants for membership in the NHADA must adhere to the following guidelines for all members:
Have been in business of actively dealing in antiques for a minimum of one year.
Identify reproductions and non-antique items as such, and maintain no more than 10% of total inventory in these classifications.
Guarantee all items as described, based on the member's best judgement, and accepts the return of an item for full refund if shown on good authority to be other than described.
Provide the names of two existing NHADA members as references upon application.

I will adhere to the NHADA Inc. Code of Ethics as follows:
a. Accurately describe inventory and shop hours in my Directory listing.
b. Price any merchandise on display in my shop or show booth.
c. Identify reproductions and non-antique items and maintain no more than 10% of total inventory in these classifications.
d. Provide buyers with a full description of all purchases including date, origin, restoration, repainting, refinishing, or damage. Include any provenance available.
e. Warrant that all items sold are as described based on the member's best judgment, and that an item will be accepted for a full refund if shown on good authority to be other than as described.
f. This membership is non-transferable.
I agree to follow the NHADA Code of Ethics as stated in the published by-laws. If these by-laws are not followed, the Board of Directors, at their discretion, may vote not to extend an annual membership renewal.
